REFUND POLICY
30-Day Magic Guarantee
At HocusPocus Games UK, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that buying retro games online requires trust, which is why we offer our 30-Day Magic Guarantee.
1. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
Our refund policy is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Under this act, you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose, or not as described, and get a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
2. RETURNS & COOLING-OFF PERIOD
Faulty or Defective Items: If your game or console arrives damaged or doesn't work, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund or replacement. We will cover the return shipping costs.
Change of Mind (Cooling-Off Period): Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind and cancel your purchase. You then have another 14 days to return the goods to us. In this case, you must cover the return shipping costs, and the item must be in the same condition as received.
3. REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days (typically 5-7 business days).
3. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

4. EXCHANGES

Who pays for shipping?
- If the item is faulty/incorrect: We will provide a prepaid shipping label or refund your postage costs.
- If you are returning due to change of mind: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
